Meet Our Staff


LAUREN HOLLEY

Owner, Director, Instructor, Choreographer

Miss Lauren is from Crawfordville, Florida and attended Tallahassee Community College. She‘s trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Pointe, Contemporary and Musical Theater. She has taken classes from many world-renowned choreographers such as the late Frank Hatchett, Mia Michaels, Dave Scott, Tyce Dioro, Ashle Dawson, and Jim Cooney just to name a few. Lauren’s choreography has won many platinum awards, overall and high score awards, best choreography awards, judges choice awards, most entertaining awards and much more. She believes there is nothing more gratifying than sharing the joy of dance with others and inspiring students to be the best performer they can be.

TIA UNSELL

Instructor, Choreographer

Miss Tia is from Crawfordville and is currently 2023 Miss Tallahassee. She is a senior at Florida State University. She‘s trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pointe, Contemporary, Lyrical and Musical Theater. She has taken classes from Broadway stars in New York at the Broadway Dance Center. She is also a multi-platinum award winning dancer, winning first place and overall awards. Miss Tia is a great addition to Studio 88 Dance Productions staff and we are proud to have her.

HARLEY RIGDON

Instructor, Choreographer

Miss Harley is from Crawfordville, Florida. She is a Junior at Florida State University. She’s trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pointe, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Musical Theater and has taken classes at the Broadway Dance Center in New York. She is an amazing choreographer and has choreographed many award-winning dances for our studio. We are so proud to have Miss Harley as a part of our staff.

KAILA SEKULA

Instructor, Choreographer

Miss Kaila is a dance teacher who is pursuing her lifelong passion for movement and expression into a full-time career. Since 2017, she has been dedicating her free time to volunteer teaching, participating in community performances, and independently studying the emerging styles of open free and eastern pop dancing. We are so excited to have Miss Kaila as a part of the Studio 88 dance teaching staff.

LAUREN SHELL

Instructor, Choreographer

Miss Lauren is currently pursuing a Masters Thesis degree from Florida State University (FSU) in educational psychology: learning and cognition. Prior to moving to the area to attend FSU, from November 2015 through May 2021, Miss Lauren was a tap dance instructor and choreographer for G-Force Dance Company in Fort Myers, Florida. Miss Lauren started taking ballet classes in Flint, Michigan around the age of 8. At the age of 13, She began expanding her dance training to include all different styles of dance (including tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, etc.) at Miss Kelly’s Dance Centre in Fort Myers, Florida and began began assisting in teaching classes there around the age of 15. During her time at Miss Kelly’s, she had the opportunity to take master classes and learn choreography from artists including Danny Wallace (Tap Dogs) and Sonya Tayeh (So You Think You Can Dance). Miss Lauren is a great addition to Studio 88 Dance Productions staff and we are so excited to have her.

SAMANTHA “SAMMIE” SIMS

Instructor, Choreographer

Miss Sammie is from Crawfordville Florida. She has danced for over 10 years and has won many high scoring awards at competitions. She’s trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Musical Theater. Her favorite classes to teach are the preschoolers. We are so happy to have Miss Sammie as a new addition to our staff.

IMANI ALEXANDAR

Instructor, Choreographer

Miss Imani is from Crawfordville Florida. She has won many high scoring awards at competitions. She’s trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theater and Hip Hop. Her favorite class to teach is the ballet. We are so happy to have Miss Imani as a new addition to our staff.
